Eduardo Milieris was Born in 1960 in Montevideo, Uruguay. From 1985 to 1990 he studied at The School of Liberal Arts, in Montevideo, where he developed his style in photography, video art, and sculpture.
He recalls his first artistic influence to be an exhibit of the work of Alexander Calder. Just after the show he was inspired to paint his "sunny-side-ups," and converted them into clocks. Eduardo remains deeply influenced by Calder's universe, and today his use of nails as rivets evokes the jewelry that Calder created.
