About the Artist
Carol has been interested and involved in art since early childhood, designing and completing many works in crewel embroidery, including a complete set of bed hangings and bed spread for an antique 4-poster bed, several document boxes and draperies. She was the Long Island representative for McAdoo Rugs and designed rugs for them.
Carol, a blue ribbon award winner, is an artist and printmaker who works mainly in acrylic and watercolor. Her work has appeared in “Watercolor Magazine”, “The New York Times”, “The Garden Club of America Bulletin”, the cover of “Conservation Watch” and “Painting with Watercolors” by Jackie Penney.Carol’s work has been shown at The Tubac Center of the Arts, Molloy College, Yamawaki Gallery in Boston, The Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y. Library, and several other galleries in Tubac, Arizona.
