Handmade from sustainably sourced longleaf pine needles and pajón, a native wild grass found in the Guatemalan Highlands, these unique, heirloom-quality baskets will enhance any home decor. with their natural beauty and texture and their subtle fragrance. Basket makers masterfully combine color, form, and fine stitches to create baskets that, while perfect for display, are entirely functional as well. Each basket bears a tag signed by the basket artist who crafted it. Mayan Hands is a fair trade nonprofit organization partnering with about 200 talented Mayan women in the Guatemala Highlands.
